Traditional Bidayuh Village Bamboo Longhouse Tour from Kuching

Anah Rais is a large Bidayuh (Land Dayak) town about 45 minutes from Kuching. Originally known as the Land Dayak, was first used during the period of the Brookes and British colonial at Anah Rais. It is one of the several longhouses that spot the painted scenes of Sarawak.  The focal point of the town is an extensive and generally protected conventional bamboo longhouse which is home to many families. This guided tour acquaints guests with the interesting structural and cultural highlights of the longhouse and the ancient cultivating lifestyle of the Bidayuh people.
